My story

I am economist working at Maastricht University in the Netherlands, with a main interest in macroeconomics of technological change. I work from an evolutionary economics perspective, focusing on structural change, the economy as a complex system, and long-run development. I am based at the research institute UNU-MERIT. In the past I worked at the University of Oslo and the Eindhoven University of Technology.
